Why Teach?

Office hours were often intimidating when I was behind in class, so I was always having to catch up without any aid. Having an undergraduate tutor removes a lot of the stress associated with not knowing information. I enjoy being able to be the person that students are comfortable with asking questions and making mistakes because I have been in their shoes.

Background?

I am from New Jersey. I am currently in my fourth year at CU and will be graduating in Spring. Outside of studies I spend my time camping, hiking, skiing, and seeing live music. Of all of those hobbies, seeing live music is the dominating of them. I chose my major because I was always good in STEM courses, and the title sounded intriguing, and this decision turned out to be very fitting for my skills.

Interests?

Outside of studies I spend my time camping, hiking, skiing, and seeing live music. There is plenty of good hikes in Colorado, but a good local spot to spend outdoors is boulder creek or gross reservoir.

Plans?

My current plan is to pursue graduate school next year. I plan to work as a research assistant for the year before grad school
