I love seeing students have their “a-ha” moment where a subject they hated starts making sense to them. I feel like I get to learn and grow as much as my students do every time I teach! Background?
I was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but I’ve spent most of my life living in Lakewood CO. Before college I started a jewelry making business and used to solder and saw jewelry in my parents’ garage. I’ve been to more countries than I can count and hope to visit even more over the years!Interests?
I’ve always loved to read and write, and I recently learned how to ski. It’s become one of my greatest passions. I also love to travel, and I really enjoy helping people through tutoring and volunteer work.Plans?
While my major doesn’t seem useful for medical school, that’s my ultimate plan after graduation. I wanted to give myself some options if I didn’t like studying medicine or if I wanted to open my own practice some day. I want to live in a place as beautiful as Colorado with (at least) 2 dogs. I’m always up for a challenge and I try to seek out opportunities for growth wherever I can
